Bypassing Borders and Existing Systems by Unifying Ourselves

How We Work – Event Platform

The World Summit Operating System (WSOS)  – The Circle of Humanity

The World Summit is an unbiased and non-judgemental platform which aims to unite individuals, social movements, charities, NGO’s (nongovernmental organizations) and harness the collective wisdom we possess. Working together both online and offline from a “whole-systems” perspective, we will connect not only the disparate tribes of people but also their fields of knowledge.  In doing so, we will be widening our circles of compassion, our circles of knowledge, and our circles of cooperation until we scale to the largest circle necessary for us to thrive—the whole earth and all its inhabitants. We will then realize our evolutionary potential as the one species that we truly are—the one global tribe of humanity.

Our open-source operating system is based upon two interdependent components:

Knowledge Component – The Unification of Knowledge and Solutions

This component is designed to unite individual specialists, experts, academicians and professionals (self-selected and consensus qualified) who have realized the root causes of the problems within our current systems. They will help us clearly define the problems as seen from within their field of expertise, but from an unbiased, neutral perspective. By uniting such individuals, we will be able to bring together current theories, ideas, best practices, achievements and form a knowledge database so we may begin defining and solving the problems created by the current establishment.

It was Isaac Newton who said, “If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants”. With all of our currently existing theory, knowledge and technology from the giants of humanity, as well as the wisdom and ideas from the untapped billions who currently have no voice, we can stand on the collective shoulders of humanity to see farther than ever possible. By joining us, individuals will have more opportunities to cross-pollinate with other people and professionals, not only in their own areas of interest but also inter-subjectively with others among interrelated fields. Working together, we will be able to connect the dots and achieve a “whole systems” understanding of our challenges. We will enrich our human knowledge database for the sake of the entire human species, the planet, and all sentient life. Then practical solutions will present themselves, most of which already exist. We can then begin envisioning and manifesting the implementation of those solutions now, not in the distant future.

Group Component – The Unification of Causes

The Group Component aims to unite the myriad causes, social movements, protest groups, charities and NGO’s so that we may all work more closely to achieve our common goals. There are many social and environmental groups who are doing brilliant things for this planet, but we have to face the fact that most of the groups are working independently and are not communicating with each other. If we take a whole-systems approach, we can see that all of the issues and challenges we face are connected. So unless and until all the disparate groups begin working cooperatively and in the same direction, we will not solve our problems.

“From billion-dollar nonprofits to single-person dot.causes, these groups collectively comprise the largest movement on earth, a movement that has no name, leader, or location, and that has gone largely ignored by politicians and the media. Like nature itself, it is organizing from the bottom up, in every city, town, and culture. and is emerging to be an extraordinary and creative expression of people’s needs worldwide.” ― Paul Hawken

The environmentalist Paul Hawken wrote a book in 2007 called “Blessed Unrest”,  with the subtitle, “How the Largest Movement in the World Came into Being and Why No One Saw It Coming”. A decade later one must question whether it really came at all. It is far past time to realize our full power in what he called the largest collective social movement in human history. But in order for this to happen, we have to unify, we have to communicate, we have to cooperate. Perhaps most importantly, we must recognize that all of our causes are connected.

By joining the World Summit connections will be made, between people and ideas. Every group or individual will gain exposure to other social groups or individuals in the platform. Every group will be able to set up conversations with other groups or individuals and present themselves and their ideas. Most importantly, every group will have at their disposal plenty of theory, facts, data, and academic/practical support from our knowledge database.
